The late Professor Xie Yu (1936-1999 ) was a life long, well known and well respected educator who had devoted all her life to education and loved her students more than anything else.
To commemorate Professor Xie Yu for what she had achieved, to honor all other BNU people who have dedicated their lives to education and to promote education among all ethnic backgrounds including Chinese communities, especially BNU communities, we, a group of BNU alumni, have founded Xie Yu Education Foundation, Inc. This foundation is a non-profit organization registered in the State of Georgia, USA and approved a tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service of USA.
Thinking back to our root, we have yearned to render our service to our motherland. Remembering well the first education we received back home, we sincerely hope our alma mater becomes better and better and our motherland gets more and more prosperous.
We shall maintain the foundation operation open and transparent. We shall extremely welcome suggestions and monitoring from all of you. Above all, we look forward to your support.
